Dr. Douglas Hopper received his undergraduate training at Princeton and UCLA and interned at the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center. Dr. Hopper went on to practice psychiatry for four years at Olive County Hospital in Sylmar, California after completing a psychiatry residency at the UCLA Neuro Psychiatric Institute.

He returned to Santa Monica to complete a family practice residency. He was then board certified three times. Dr. Douglas Hopper went on to teach other family practice residents in specialties such as obstetrics and pediatrics.

Dr. Hopper then discovered alternative and natural medicine. He liked the approach of looking at the health of a patient as opposed to just focusing on the disease. He served the community in several low income health care clinics. Today, these integrated treatment approaches pioneered by Dr. Hopper are giving hope and relief to many patients.
